Cayuga Climbs' third annual competition "Taughannock Panic" is a traditional red point competition welcoming climbers of all skill levels, comprising multiple categories ranging from Beginner to Expert. Come climb your heart out in an electric atmosphere of friendly competition!
Cayuga Climbs will award the top 3 spots in each category (Youth, Beginner V0-V3, Intermediate V4-V6, and Open/Expert) for both Male (plus non-binary) and Female (plus non-binary) with prize packages.
The Youth Category is for ages 14 and under.
The Open (Expert) Category for both Male (plus non-binary) and Female (plus non-binary) is for those climbers trying for one of the 6 spots in our onsight finals. Anyone can register in open and we will do our best to make sure finals boulders are accessible, but we will not be setting youth-specific finals boulders.
*Competitors registering in Open (Expert) Category should sign up for the AM session to allow time to rest if they earn a spot in Finals starting at 7:00pm.*
Register by March 1st to guarantee your limited-edition Comp t-shirt size! We will need to submit our t-shirt order by this date to receive them in time for the comp, so for any registrations beyond March 1st, you are not guaranteed to receive your size.
